Doug Ellin — the writer/director of HBO’s upcoming “Entourage” movie — spontaneously cast Common on Friday when he spotted the rapper at the gym.
The film was shooting at an Equinox in West Hollywood, and when Ellin noticed Common working out, he asked him on the spot to do a cameo.
After the rapper delivered his one line of dialogue, he went back to his off-camera fitness routine.
Liam Neeson was also seen shooting a cameo last week, which we’ll assume was planned in advance.
