Competition among New York chefs can be cutthroat, but a group of top toques put down their knives to celebrate the 10th anniversary of Jonathan Waxman’s Barbuto over two days this week.

On Tuesday, Tom Colicchio and Marc Vetri took over the West Village Italian eatery’s kitchen to prep meals for guests including Landmarc’s Marc Murphy, Gotham Bar and Grill’s Alfred Portale, Food Network host Ted Allen and food writers Kate Krader, Andrew Friedman and Adam Sachs.

Then, on Wednesday night, Waxman celebrated with a party at Marc Meyer’s Five Points, where he was toasted by chefs from the Little Owl, the Red Cat, Il Buco, Nick & Toni’s and Toro.
