Celebs celebrate Forum Club reopening

The unholy alliance between Cablevision king Jim Dolan and music mogul Irving Azoff brought a stellar crowd to the grand reopening of the Forum Club in Los Angeles on Friday night.

When the Eagles wrapped their 3-hour SRO concert at the adjacent Forum, Ringo Starr, Bill Withers, David Crosby, Steven Tyler, Fergie and One Direction’s Harry Styles raved about the acoustics in the country’s largest entertainment-only indoor venue.

Tom Hanks and Rita Wilson, newly-minted Oscar nominee Jared Leto, Anjelica Huston and Cindy Crawford checked out the backstage areas, designed by Shelli Azoff and Waldo Fernandez.

Ron Burkle, Steve Bing, Michael Milken, Ron Meyer and Jerry Bruckheimer toasted the new club, where New England Patriots owner Robert Kraft was talking sports with Phil Jackson, Pat Riley and Wayne Gretzky.

Larry David, Sarah Silverman and Kathy Griffin laughed about their favorite Forum memories. Chelsea Handler said, “The Forum experience was way better than three-way sex.” She was joking. She loves threesomes.

After three more Eagles shows this week, the Forum will host concerts by Sting and Paul Simon, Justin Timberlake and Imagine Dragons.
