Oliver Stone experiences role revival at dinner

Oliver Stone and Terry George dined at Rocco Ancarola‘s new West Village restaurant, Rabbit in the Moon, Wednesday night. Ancarola, who worked for both directors — with roles in Stone’s original “Wall Street” (as maitre d’ at ’21’) and in George’s “Reservation Road” — played a joke by re-creating his famous “steak tartare” scene with Michael Douglas and Charlie Sheen. A spy reports, “Ancarola said, with a straight face, ‘We don’t have steak tartare, but we do have salmon tartare.’ Stone burst out laughing.” They ended the night drinking shots with aspiring South African filmmaker Kweku Mandela.
