White House crashers to reveal all

White House gatecrashers Michaele and Tareq Salahi are penning a book about the security breach that sparked a national furor. They’ve teamed up with investigative reporter Diane Dimond for a tome they say will lay out “behind-the-scenes” details of the November 2009 night when they bamboozled the Secret Service and got into a state dinner for India’s prime minister.

Dimond, who once covered the White House, said the book — being shopped with agent Sharlene Martin — will also “reveal the truth . . . of who the Salahis really are . . . It just never added up to me that someone could sneak in — past the [security] perimeter, no less! . . . As I began to investigate, I realized the Salahis’ story is much bigger than what’s been reported.” Dimond said the tale has “genuine intrigue” with twists that “can be traced right back to the White House.”
