David and Victoria Beckham deny rumors of a split: report

U.K. glamour couple David and Victoria Beckham have issued a statement denying they have split up after the internet was flooded with rumors Friday, Sky News reported.

A statement from Jo Milloy of House PR, who represent the Beckhams, said: “This is not true, there is no separation and no announcement. Just nonsense rumours.”

Managing director of Frank PR, Andrew Bloch, also posted on Twitter: “I am hearing from a number of sources that Victoria and David Beckham are due to announced their separation in a few hours.”

However, almost immediately after that statement appeared, he added: “I have confirmation direct from Team Beckham that the separation rumour is “utter nonsense”. Very good news indeed.”

The soccer superstar and former Spice girl married in 1999 and have three children together, sons Brooklyn, 11, Romeo, 7, and Cruz, 5.

The couple have been refered to as “Brand Beckham,” due to a range of advertising, marketing and product deals they have together and separately, with their joint weath estimated at £125 million (US$187m) as of 2009.
