Kanye West is apparently still trying to woo Anna Wintour, in hopes of getting his fiancée, Kim Kardashian, on the cover of Vogue.
Spies spotted West and Wintour lunching at the Polo Lounge at the Beverly Hills Hotel on Friday afternoon.
A source tells us: “They were in a corner booth, very intense. He was talking nonstop. She did not get a word in edgewise.”
West has been lobbying Wintour to include his reality-star baby mama in the pages of Vogue and has, with his trademark lack of modesty, said that only Vogue is worthy to photograph their baby North West.
The rapper has also argued that Kardashian’s fashion influence rivals that of First Lady Michelle Obama, who has appeared on two Vogue covers.
West himself has tried to win over the fashion world with his own clothing designs, with mixed success.
In July, a line he designed with French brand A.P.C. sold out in a few hours, but his eponymous women’s line received tepid reviews from buyers and editors.
