Jennifer Lawrence is no garden-variety beauty, despite her flowery theme as the barely covered girl for W mag’s annual Best Performances portfolio.

Winning an Oscar is usually the hard part, the “Silver Linings Playbook” stunner tells the magazine in its issue celebrating last year’s finest acting talents. But walking onstage to accept Hollywood’s ultimate prize was no cakewalk, either.

Lawrence said she got distracted, by frosted baked goods, when her name was called out at last year’s Oscars as Best Actress for her role in the flick.

“I was at the Oscars, waiting to hear if my name was called, and I kept thinking, ‘Cakewalk, cakewalk, cakewalk.’ I thought, ‘Why is “cakewalk” stuck in my head?’ ”she recalled.

“Then, as I started to walk up the stairs and the fabric from my dress tucked under my feet, I realized my stylist had told me, ‘Kick, walk, kick, walk.’ ”

Moments later, Lawrence, in her voluminous, strapless Dior Haute Couture gown, went splat — falling face-first into the stairs leading to the stage.

“You are supposed to kick the dress out while you walk, and I totally forgot because I was thinking about cake!” she said.
