“Star Wars” actor Hayden Christensen failed to win over a judge who yesterday tossed out his suit against the USA Network. Christensen and his brother Tove sued USA last year, claiming it ripped off their 2005 proposal for TV series “Housecall,” about a doctor who visits the rich. They alleged the network then developed its own version, “Royal Pains.” Manhattan federal Judge Colleen McMahon said their claims were trumped by a federal law “concerning materials that are not copyrightable, such as ideas.” Their lawyer, David Marek, said: “We are disappointed with the ruling and hope to have it reversed on appeal.”
