Le Cirque’s Sirio Maccioni — who’s gearing up to celebrate the restaurant’s 40th anniversary — will receive the James Beard Foundation’s Lifetime Achievement Award on May 5 at Avery Fisher Hall, we hear.
Maccioni will celebrate at a VIP after-party featuring food from the chefs at his Le Cirque, Circo and Sirio spots.
Past lifetime winners at the annual Beard event include Wolfgang Puck, Cecilia Chiang and Windows on the World Wine School founder Kevin Zraly.
