Multi-talented Trudie Styler interviewed “The Avengers” star Robert Downey Jr. for the cover story of UK weekly entertainment and current affairs magazine The Big Issue, out tomorrow. The publication is sold for £2 ($3.12) by homeless vendors who buy it for £1 ($1.56), allowing them to earn a legitimate living. Styler — who thinks a similar project could have an impact helping homeless people in the United States — guest-edited the issue, which also features photos of Big Issue vendors by rocker-turned-top-lensman Bryan Adams, a piece by Archbishop Desmond Tutu titled “Letter to My Younger Self,” and a piece on Gary McKinnon, an Asperger’s sufferer who hacked into Pentagon computers from his North London flat while looking for evidence of an alien invasion. Styler interviewed McKinnon’s mother, Janis Sharp, whose son could face 70 years in prison. Renaissance woman Styler also has a DVD being released this week called “Trudie Styler’s Strengthen & Restore Yoga.”
