Megan Fox is eager to have children with her “soul mate,” “Beverly Hills, 90210” actor Brian Austin Green.

While Fox does get to be around kids often, as Green has a 9-year-old son with ex Vanessa Marcil, Fox tells the April issue of Cosmopolitan magazine that she looks forward to having kids of her own.

“I want at least two, probably three [kids],” she says. “I’ve always been maternal.”

The actress, who was famously let go from the “Transformers” franchise after comparing director Michael Bay to Hitler, also talks to the magazine about meeting Green when she was just 18 years old on the set of the sitcom “Hope & Faith.”

“I didn’t know who he was. I was too young for ‘Beverly Hills, 90210,'” Fox says. “But the first time I saw him, I got butterflies. And the first time he casually touched me? There was so much electricity.”

She adds that she feels like it was destiny that they met.

“I truly feel like he’s my soul mate. We’ve had obstacles, and we’ve overcome them,” she says. “I don’t want to sound corny or cliché, but I do believe that we are destined to live this part of our lives together.”

Fox and Green met in 2004, and split briefly in 2009. The pair married in a sunset ceremony in Hawaii in 2010 with only Green’s son present.
