Comedian Eddie Murphy and songstress Toni Braxton have been dating for four months and their relationship is “getting very serious,” a report claims.

A source tells Us Weekly that Murphy and Braxton “are seeing each other and are very into it.”

While Braxton’s rep holds that the two are “just friends and have been fans of each other’s work for a long time,” the source claims that the pair are in fact a couple.

“Their kids have met and everything,” the source says. “It’s getting very serious.”

Murphy has five children with former wife Nicole Mitchell, who he split with in 2005. Soon after, he began dating former Spice Girl Melanie Brown. When Brown became pregnant, the two were enmeshed in a high profile paternity case, which determined that Murphy was in fact the father of the baby.

Murphy was last linked to film producer Tracey Edmonds, with whom he exchanged marriage vows in 2008. However, the pair never made their marriage legal and split two weeks later, releasing a statement that read, “While the recent symbolic union in Bora Bora was representative of our deep love, friendship and respect that we have for one another on a spiritual level, we have decided to remain friends.”

Braxton wed musician Keri Lewis in 2001 and split with him in 2009, after having two children together. The singer has tackled dating again on her WE TV series, “Braxton Family Values.”
