“Avatar” director James Cameron was the toast of Michael’s at a lunch in his honor hosted by American Film Institute founding director George Stevens, Jr. But Cameron’s eyes almost popped out of his head “3D-style,” a witness said, when Dr. Ruth Westheimer handed him key chains promoting her book “Sex for Dummies.” Our spy said, “Cameron said he really didn’t need them but would pass them on to others who might.” Guests included Les Moonves, Ken Burns, Ellen Burstyn, Parker Posey, Jane Rosenthal and Entertainment Weekly’s Dave Karger.
