David Remnick, editor of The New Yorker, is a hip dude, but some readers were surprised when he was quoted as saying that his book about President Obama would be more than just a “pimped out” version of his earlier magazine article about the commander in chief. A New York Times ArtsBeat blog post carried a correction yesterday stating that Remnick had said “pumped up” — not “pimped out.” William Shawn can rest in peace.
