Art dealer and gallery owner Larry Gagosian threw lavish dinners to celebrate two big openings. He took over the entire restaurant at new Upper East Side eatery Crown last Thursday to celebrate the opening of Jenny Saville’s show at his Madison Avenue Gallery. Larry sat between Saville and Francoise Gilot (a French painter, the lover of Pablo Picasso and mother of his children). The following night, Gagosian took over The Lion to toast the Andy Warhol exhibition at his West 21st Street location. Guests included Owen Wilson, Peter Brant, Stavros Niarchos, Bob Colacello, James Frey, Jane Holzer, Peter Marino, Alberto Mugrabi and Lou Reed.
