Mick Jagger worked the room like a rock star, chatting and taking photos with all the guests at the album-release party for his band SuperHeavy at new Meatpacking hot spot The Double Seven. After making the rounds Wednesday night, the Rolling Stones legend returned to his booth, where he and partner L’Wren Scott shared a Champagne toast with bandmates A.R. Rahman and Dave Stewart, along with bar owner Jeffrey Jah. A spy told us, “Mick was friendly, dancing and taking photos with everyone.” Guests at the party included fashion muse Daphne Guinness — who danced the night away despite wearing her trademark impossibly angled surrealist shoes — Lorne Michaels, Steve Bing, Tommy Hilfiger, movie director Brett Ratner, entertainment guru Ryan Schinman, Gayle King and Steve Martin.
