Paul “DJ Pauly D” DelVecchio and Joel “Deadmau5” Zimmerman are embroiled in a Twitter war.

The feud began when the “Jersey Shore” star tweeted out a link to his newest video and asked his fans, “So how do you like the video?”

DeadMau5, the Canadian DJ known for performing in a mouse head, took the bait.

“Well since you asked, I didn’t really enjoy it,” he wrote. “It looked like it cost about $150 to make, and nothing really creative about it.”

“The Jersey Shore” star responded by referencing the famous Mastercard ads.

“T-Shirt $40 Jeans $120 Hair Gel $12 Being Hated On By Deadmau5 #Priceless,” he said.

From there, the back and forth continued.

“Hating? the [bleep]? you clearly don’t know me enough if you thought that was ‘hating,'” wrote DeadMau5. “Was just some friendly-ish advice.”

Pauly D fired back, “Maybe He Just Needs Some Cheese To Go With His Whine … #WheresMyMau5Trap.”

The heavily gelled reality TV star got in the last word, too.

“Well DeadMau5 Today Was A Pleasure , Hope U Had Fun Too , But I Got Show To Watch Tonight #PaulyDProject U Should Tune In @MTV,” he said, referencing the fact that his “Jersey Shore” spin-off is currently airing on the network.

Pauly D also pointed out on Facebook today that while his song “Night of My Life” is currently #12 on iTunes, DeadMau5’s “The Veldt” clocks in at #13.
