Alec changes ‘Today’ tune

A month after slamming “Today” for “stalking” him, “30 Rock” blowhard Alec Baldwin slinked back and did an interview with the NBC morning show to pump his animated film, “Rise of the Guardians,” in Cannes.

The reason? Studio boss Jeffrey Katzenberg made him do it, according to the actor’s Twitter feed.

Baldwin had blasted “Today” last month for being “camped” outside his Greenwich Village home after alleged stalker Genevieve Sabourin tried to gain access to his apartment.

“A story about stalking sure brings out the stalkers in the media,” he tweeted, adding angrily, “I think I’m leaving NBC just in time.”

But this week, he was grinning with Ann Curry on the Riviera. “I talked to Ann Curry of the Today show,” Baldwin tweeted Wednesday, adding, “#ThePowerofKatzenberg.”

Meanwhile, Sean Penn had a meltdown of his own yesterday at the film festival, blasting Hollywood and the media at a press conference for a benefit for his Haiti charity.

“It’s not only celebrities who went for a day,” Penn said of those who “never [had] a commitment [to Haiti] in the first place . . . It’s the whole [bleeping] world. It’s all of you.” OK.

He then headed to his Giorgio Armani and Chopard-sponsored bash, which Penn threw with his new girlfriend, Czech supermodel Petra Nemcova, and “Crash” writer-director Paul Haggis (who we reported is divorcing Deborah Rennard).

Hollywood has scaled back on marketing at Cannes this year, but the couples have not. Penn and Nemcova have been public, and Russell Simmons’ ex, Melissa George, snuggled with new beau Jean-David Blanc at Calvin Klein’s Women in Film fete Thursday, where guests included Jessica Chastain and Unik Ernest, the founder of Haiti charity Edeyo.

“American Reunion” star Tara Reid was seen “all over” luxury jeweler Fawaz Gruosi of de Grisogono at Denise Rich and Eva Longoria’s charity yacht bash.
