Wintour melts! Vogue Editor-in-Chief Anna Wintour showed a rare emotional side during Vogue creative director Grace Coddington‘s 70th-birthday party at Indochine. Wintour teared up the other night while giving a speech to Coddington, paying tribute to the flame-haired icon as the “heart and soul of the magazine.” A source told us, “Anna choked up. It was really very touching.” Fashion colleagues and industry friends of Coddington came out to celebrate, including Naomi Campbell and boyfriend Vladimir Doronin (who jetted in from Moscow), Marc Jacobs, model and singer Karen Elson (who sang “Amazing Grace”), Bruce Weber, Vera Wang, Helmut Lang, Oscar de la Renta, Hedi Slimane, YSL’s Stefano Pilati, “SNL” star Seth Meyers and girlfriend Alexi Ashe.
