Chris Brown: I can’t focus on wife-ing Rihanna

Chris Brown has confirmed a split with Rihanna, and it appears that he’s the one who called it quits on their rollercoaster relationship this time.

In an interview with Australia’s 2Day radio program, “The Kyle and Jackie Show,” Brown shared what present he wants for his 24th birthday.

“I ask just for peace…center of your zen…a clear mind, that’s what I really want.”

“But,” he emphasized, “I’m 24, I’m gonna be in Vegas. So [I wanna] see as many girls as possible.”

“So hang on, if you ‘wanna see as many girls as possible’…are you going through this birthday solo?” a host asked.

“Yeah, Imma do it solo,” he replied. “I mean, at the end of the day, shorty doing her thing, she on the road…It’s always gonna be love. I’m just gonna do me. I’m a grown man. Just gotta fast forward.”

Despite the breakup, the R&B singer said he’ll always “love” RiRi.

“The way I look at it is, I am always going to love that person,” he said. “But people have differences and people have different wants and needs. And at the end of the day, she’s a young girl. I can’t really be focused on wife-ing somebody that young,” he explained.

“I just need to fast forward and be a man and be the best Chris Brown I can be, instead of worrying about whoever else is going to be in my side pocket.”

Last week, photos surfaced of Rihanna and a mystery man exchanging kisses on the cheek during a night out in New York City.

Brown recently unfollowed Rihanna on Twitter and began to follow his ex Karrueche Tran again. Tran reportedly attended his birthday bash in Hollywood on Friday.
