Kim Kardashian may have secured her invite to tonight’s Metropolitan Museum’s Costume Institute Gala, buttering up host Anna Wintour the night before the big event.
Us Weekly reports that the pregnant reality star, with baby daddy Kanye West in tow, was snapped heading into the Vogue Editor’s apartment for dinner on Sunday.
She was dressed to impress the fashion icon, Instagramming a photo of herself in a black form-fitting dress with red-and-white flower decal.
“Prada kinda night! Style by rushkabergman BigLove,” she captioned.
The overexposed E! personality was reportedly banned from the fashion’s foremost event last year. Wintour is known for handpicking each name on the event’s guest list, and in the past she has not approved Kardashian to attend.
As The Post’s Alexa reported last week, this year’s ball is co-hosted by Wintour along with Givenchy designer Riccardo Tisci, Moda Operandi founder Lauren Santo Domingo and actress Rooney Mara.
Sources said that Tisci pushed organizers for his close friend West to entertain. The hip-hop star said he would only attend if Kardashian was extended an invite. As of press time, he is rumored to be performing.
Kardashian has received an invitation, but it’s unclear whether she’ll go, sources added. The mom-to-be is already seven months pregnant and is treading lightly after suffering a miscarriage scare in March.
“It’s so late in the pregnancy, it’s all up in the air,” said a Kardashian friend. But another sniffed, “This is her dream to go. But if she does go, the news headlines will be Kim’s belly climbing up those Met stairs.”
