Swedish royals did the Harlem Shake up to Marcus Samuelsson’s Red Rooster for a celebratory lunch Wednesday afternoon. Newly engaged Princess Madeleine and her banker fiancé, Christopher O’Neill, were joined by her parents, King Carl XVI Gustaf and Queen Silvia. Samuelsson, who was born in Ethiopia and raised in Sweden, joined the group at his restaurant to celebrate the 375th anniversary of the Swedish and Finnish colonists establishing New Sweden in the present-day Wilmington, Del. They enjoyed smoked trout with dill salad, fried chicken, shrimp and grits, collard greens and spring mushrooms, rounded out with rhubarb-papaya pot pie. Yum!
