Paltrow blasts Wintour’s Met gala: ‘I’m never going again’

She may be the Most Beautiful Woman in the world, but Gwyneth Paltrow won’t be attending the prestigious Met Ball anymore.

After looking stunning in a “slap-in-the-face” Valentino ensemble, completely disregarding the night’s punk theme, the “Iron Man 3” beauty blasted Anna Wintour’s annual soiree.

“I’m never going again,” USA Today quotes Paltrow as saying. “It was so un-fun. It was boiling. It was too crowded. I did not enjoy it at all.”

The blasting of the ball comes as a surprise as Paltrow has had a cozy relationship with Wintour and her mag, Vogue. Paltrow has appeared on the cover of the fashion publication seven times.

Paltrow’s floor-length pink Valentino dress was in stark contrast to Jessica Biel, who wore a nose ring, Cash Warren’s black-painted fingernails and the dozens of other celebs who embraced the punk theme of the evening.

Despite not wearing traditional punk garb, Paltrow may have been the most reflective of the theme on the evening.

“I guess it’s punk in that I’ve gone just totally classic on a punk night,” Paltrow said.
