Meditation’s become trendy again in Hollywood, but Ron Perlman — who stars in the edgy biker series “Sons of Anarchy” — takes a different path to transcendental bliss.
“Smoking a cigar, you have to take your act down a notch,” he muses in a new Cigar Aficionado cover story. “Some people meditate . . . I smoke cigars.”
The actor, who’s partial to Joya de Nicaragua stogies, adds of his untraditional looks which landed him his first feature film, “Quest for Fire,” in 1981: “They were looking for ‘Neanderthal-looking people.’ ”
