Why would attention-loving Kim Kardashian NOT want to sell herself?
Oh, because she’s not paid for it.
Reports surfaced that Kardashian is outraged over Instagram’s new terms of service because the language implied it could sell users’ photos to advertisers without compensation.
Despite Instagram’s co-owner clarifying the misconception, the photo-sharing site’s former No. 1 fan told TMZ’s cameras yesterday, “I just don’t think they should have the right to sell [our photos] to advertising companies on our behalf. What if we don’t want to advertise what they want?”
We don’t remember the last time she didn’t want to advertise with a company, but TMZ believes that Kardashian’s worried that her mug might be placed next to something that’s not under the house that K built.
The company’s co-owner recently said that wording in the new terms of service has been misunderstood and Instagram cannot actually sell anyone’s likeness to the highest bidder.
Still, she’s not buying it. “I just hope they revise it,” she said ominously.
So will Kardashian take her 5.7 million Instagram followers elsewhere?
