Danny DeVito is reportedly trying to win Rhea Perlman back with a luxurious gift.
According to RadarOnline, the “It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia” star has splurged on a week-long spa trip as a Christmas present to Perlman in an effort to woo his estranged wife.
“Danny is doing everything he can in his attempts to win back Rhea,” a source revealed to the gossip site. “He knows she loves spa treatments, so he’s paid for her and a friend to take a week-long break, all expenses paid, and told her to get whatever treatments she wants.”
The source continued, “Rhea, who isn’t the materialistic type, was delighted that Danny gave her such a thoughtful present, even though she didn’t get him anything!”
The diminutive pair shocked Hollywood when they announced their split in October. However, several new reports allege that they’re headed toward reconciliation. They were even seen at an airport together a few weeks back.
DeVito recently opened up to TMZ about his split with Perlman. “It’s not something you adjust to,” DeVito said. “Rhea and I are really close. Actually, still together, just separate, but together.”
When asked about a reunion, actor said “We’re working on it.”
DeVito and Perlman separated after three decades of marriage.
