Andrew Dice Clay had to edit out some of his upcoming New Year’s Eve comeback special on Showtime because of Elvis Presley’s estate. The Diceman tells us he serenaded his wife Valerie with The King’s “One Night with You” at the concert, but later couldn’t get permission to include the song. “I’ve always been tight with [Elvis’ best friend] Jerry Schilling and the ‘Memphis Mafia’ thing,” the “Entourage” regular says. “But they don’t run the estate anymore. They wanted a lot of money for it. Money is the root of all evil.” Now the comic — who sold out two nights at MSG in 1990, and famously made the nursery rhyme “Jack and Jill” positively profane in his act — has sons Max, 22, and Dillon, 17, opening his new special, “Indestructible,” with their band LA Rocks. “This is more of a rock concert,” he says. “It’s bedlam. I do this so people will laugh their balls off.” Clay just shot Woody Allen’s latest movie and signed a deal for a long-term run at a Las Vegas hotel. “Just because you want a resurgence doesn’t mean it’s going to happen,” he added.
