Worst ‘lust’ Trump ever had

Marla Maples famously gushed “Best Sex I Ever Had” in a Post Page One headline when she started her affair with Donald Trump back in 1990 — but The Donald wasn’t as thrilled, according to a gossipy police confession tape.

Chuck Jones Maples’ shoe-fetishist former publicist — has recorded a video statement for Manhattan cops and prosecutors revealing what he describes as Trump’s immediate regrets upon ditching first wife, Ivana, for the Georgia peach.

“I said [to Trump], ‘Did you love [Maples]?’ ” Jones dishes on the tape, made when he was arrested this month on charges of harassing and stalking Maples via some nasty recent e-mails.

“He thought about it,” Jones recalls, describing a conversation with Trump from before his divorce from Ivana was final. “And it’s not like he said, ‘I’m madly in love with her.’ He said, ‘You know . . .I think it was lust . . . and had I the opportunity to do it over, I would have stayed with my family,’ ” meaning Ivana and their three kids.

Jones was convicted five years after the Trump chat for burglarizing Maples’ home and stealing 70 pairs of shoes, which he admitted he was having a “sexual relationship with.”

In the taped police statement — a copy was obtained by The Post’s Laura Italiano — Jones says he was just “getting it out of my system” earlier this year when he sent Maples a series of e-mails in which he repeatedly called her “sh – – for brains” and a “home-wrecking whore.”

He blames Maples in the statement for the two years he spent in prison. He also gripes about then-DA Robert Morgenthau lunching with Trump at the Plaza Hotel on the same day Marla testified before a grand jury in the shoe burglary case, and boasts of his intimate chats with The Donald from two decades ago.

“I met Trump at a party and said, ‘What do you think of her getting pregnant?’ Jones says. “I said, ‘One question. Did you want her to get pregnant?’ He said, ‘No.’ ” As for Maples herself, getting pregnant was “a planned operation,” claimed Jones, who remains free on $100,000 bail.

A rep for Trump declined comment.
