Sting pulled double duty Thursday night, performing at benefit concerts hosted by Paul Simon and Tony Bennett just blocks away from each other. He first hit Bennett’s Exploring the Arts gala at Cipriani 42nd Street, where he serenaded the night’s honoree, Allen Grubman (who’s been Sting’s lawyer for more than three decades), with acoustic versions of “Fields of Gold” and “Every Breath You Take.” He then headed to Radio City Music Hall and Simon’s 25th-anniversary Children’s Benefit Concert. The tantric sex-loving singer and wife Trudie Styler took the stage together and poked fun at their amorous reputation with a tweaked cover of “Anything You Can Do (I Can Do Better).” Sting proudly sang, “Any orgasm, well, I can have longer,” and Styler shot back, “I can, what he said, longer than him.” Simon then sang “Father and Daughter” with his own daughter, Lulu, and Tom Hanks ably backed wife Rita Wilson. Amy Grant also dueted with hubby Vince Gill.
