Warren Buffett joked about his years knowing Fortune writer Carol Loomis at a book party Monday night at the Lambs Club for her latest, “Tap Dancing to Work: Warren Buffett on Practically Everything, 1966-2012.” Loomis has known the Oracle of Omaha for 47 years, and compiled her best articles for the book. “The nice thing about it is: She’s still working, I’m still working, and we’re planning a revised edition of this book in another 10 years,” Buffett, 82, told a crowd that included Goldman Sachs CEO Lloyd Blankfein, JP Morgan chief Jamie Dimon, Comcast chief Steve Burke, Fox Business’ Liz Claman, CNBC’s Becky Quick and Time Inc. Editor-in-Chief John Huey.
