Shaun White looks just like any other guy now!
The snowboarding legend chopped off his instantly recognizable red hair for Locks of Love, an organization that provides hairpieces for children suffering from long-term hair loss.
White filmed the whole process and posted the video on YouTube.
“Been thinking about this one for a while,” the Olympic gold medalist said on the way to a barber shop. “It’s for a good cause, so I want to do it.”
As if trying to convince himself, he added: “Somebody needs it more than I do.”
Once in the hot seat, White told the barber, “I’m a little nervous, you have to go easy on me.” He even jokingly told the barber to stop.
In the end, he seemed pleased with the results. “I like it,” he said as he ran his fingers through his newly shorn hair. “It’s good.”
