Not to ruin any surprises, but we know what some of Jon Stewart’s friends and family are getting for the holidays. “The Daily Show” host and father of two was spotted at downtown electronics mecca J&R this week shopping for video games, DVDs and Blue-ray discs. Stewart apparently doesn’t mind doing his own shopping: “He spent quite some time in the store looking around and seemingly enjoying the experience,” a spy told us. He may also enjoy wrapping presents as he didn’t get the goods wrapped up, we’re told. But Stewart — who’s Jewish per quips such as, “I was born in New York City, but I was raised in New Jersey, part of the great Jewish emigration of 1963” — may be a little late for Hanukkah. He’s not the only celeb our spies have seen holiday shopping. Halle Berry and Olivier Martinez were at a Toys R Us in LA this week, picking up toys for Berry’s daughter, Nahla, “laughing and chatting in great spirits.”
