The claws came out during last night’s highly anticipated season premiere of “American Idol.”
Viewers finally saw the Nicki Minaj vs. Mariah Carey feud that’s been brewing since the “Starships” singer was tapped to be on the show.
The colorfully wigged rapper darted plenty of angry looks, grimaces and digs at Carey right from the start. She also made it clear that she would not indulge her fellow judge’s famous prima donna behavior.
“I have to strangle one of the divas on the panel, but I won’t tell you who,” Minaj told the camera at the end of the show.
