Double Seven, the Meatpacking District nightclub that was home to the infamous “Battle Royale” last year, is under new management. Sources tell us D7 partner David Rabin has teamed up with Jimmy Haber, the investor behind BLT Restaurants, and former Gerber Group partner Raphael Chejade-Bloom, who now runs his own company, Trey Hospitality. Rabin opened the club in 2011 with nightlife impresarios Jeffrey Jah and Mark Baker, as well as the hospitality group The Ginza Project. In February 2012, the D7 brawl between Adam Hock and Pierre Casiraghi and a few of his buddies resulted in an embarrassing court battle that was eventually dropped.
