“Twilight” hunk Taylor Lautner played a hero off-screen when the co-star in his latest movie, Marie Avgeropoulos, got into a bind. The pair took a break from filming “Tracers” Monday to see Blue Man Group at the Astor Place Theatre. “After the show they popped downstairs to meet the cast,” said a spy. “But Marie, who’s on crutches due to a leg injury, had a tough time getting back up to leave.” After she bravely tried to mount the stairs, Lautner crouched down and had her hop on his back. “He carried her up piggyback,” the spy said. They left together and signed autographs for fans outside. Lautner was seen shooting “Tracers” last week in Hackensack, NJ, where actors were robbing a bank. The film follows a New York bike messenger wanted by the Mafia.
