Anthony Weiner to make cameo in ‘Alpha House’

Anthony Weiner may have a second coming after all — in Hollywood.

The disgraced New York politician will appear this week in an episode of Amazon’s politically themed original series, “Alpha House.”

Weiner will appear as himself in the new series, which centers around four senators who live together in a Washington, DC, home.

The episode will also feature cameos by a number of Washington bigwigs, including national GOP Chairman Michael Steele, CNN analyst Jeffrey Toobin and former NBC News anchor Tom Brokaw.

“Alpha House” stars John Goodman and Mark Consuelos, and was created by “Doonesbury” comic-strip author Garry Trudeau.

The show, which debuted in November, is Amazon’s first foray into original programming, an attempt to follow the success that Netflix and Hulu have found with several of their own series.
