“Spider-Man: Turn Off the Dark” went dark on Broadway Saturday, and there was appropriately a villain in its audience closing night.
Show spies were gobsmacked to see writer Glen Berger, who’s published an unflattering tell-all about the show, at its final performance.
“He must have purchased his tickets under an assumed name,” sniffed a source.
The musical’s stars including Reeve Carney and Patrick Page played with webs from the show’s sets at a John’s Pizzeria after-party then headed to the Gansevoort Hotel.
