Rapper and Diddy protégé French Montana got held up on his way to a press day at the Shoreham Penthouse on Friday when his Rolls-Royce Ghost hit a construction nail near Harvard Boulevard in Weehawken, NJ, shredding one of his expensive tires. Montana, who recently released the song “Pop That” with Rick Ross, Drake and Lil Wayne and was due to perform at the Nikon at Jones Beach Theater last night, was stranded on the side of the road, decked out in $200,000 worth of jewelry, wearing YSL Malibu high-top sneakers in natural leopard-print cowhide and toting bags packed with designer duds. Montana sat in the vehicle while stuck on the street for 20 minutes until a car service came and rescued him in an SUV. His manager waited with the damaged Rolls and its pricey contents until a dealership rep arrived to help. The delay didn’t seem to put a damper on Montana’s spirits. He tweeted on Friday night: “Aye Ima do the show tonight, lateee night . . . I need some more strippers . . .”
