A Los Angeles judge revoked Lindsay Lohan’s probation today and ordered the troubled starlet back to court next month.
Lohan was not present when Commissioner Jane Godfrey set a Jan. 15 hearing, when the actress could be found in violation of probation and face as much as 245 days in jail.
It’s expected the Godfrey would set another hearing date on Jan. 15, and give prosecutors and Linz’s defense more time to cut a deal.
The “Mean Girl” actress was also supposed to be arraigned today for allegedly lying to Santa Monica, Calif., cops about her June 8 car crash on Pacific Coast Highway. That arraignment was also put off until the Jan. 15 hearing.
Lohan’s alleged lies to Santa Monica cops prompted this potential probation violation.
Lohan’s problem is that she’s still on probation for her infamous Jan. 22, 2011 theft of a necklace from a Venice jewelry store. That case pleaded down to a misdemeanor by the LA City Attorney, and those prosecutors are now going after her for a potential probation violation.
Defense lawyer Shawn Holley said she does not believe her 26-year-old client violated probation.
