SJP’s entourage member busted for shoplifting

Sarah Jessica Parker’s flight from Oslo to New York City was delayed for a whole hour when a member of her entourage was reportedly accused of shoplifting a pair of luxury sunglasses.

According to TMZ, the actress had been in Norway to host the Nobel Peace Prize Concert, but ran into trouble before she could fly home.

As they were boarding their flight, Parker and her group were stopped by cops alleging that an expensive pair of sunglasses was stolen from one of the terminal’s shops.

The group was only permitted to leave after paying an on-the-spot $1,400 fine.

A source connected to Parker later told TMZ that the alleged shoplifter works for the Nobel Peace Prize.

However, a rep for the Nobel Institute later denied the report. “This individual (the shoplifter) is NOT an employee of and has no connection to the Nobel Institute, which awards the Peace Prize and presents the Peace Prize Concert. She is a freelance make-up artist who was contracted by an outside agency that specialized in that area.”
