Russell Crowe’s was the place to party during filming of “Les Misérables.” We’re told the cast got together at the actor’s home every Friday during production for some A-list karaoke. “Roberta [Duchak], his voice coach, was there, and there was a songbook that we would look through. There were a lot of duets,” Anne Hathaway told us. “It was really nerve-racking at first. The first time Russell said we were going to sing, I thought he was joking. Or that we could just get him drunk enough and he would forget.” She added, “We would all start out by singing ‘Hallelujah’ together, and everybody would take a verse.” According to Hugh Jackman, things got more rock ’n’ roll from there. “You know Russell loves to do a bit of Johnny Cash,” he told us. “You basically have to give Russell 30 seconds before he breaks out the guitar. He loves it, loves the sing-along.” Meanwhile Jackman continued his all-dancing, all-singing tour of New York in advance of “Les Miz” hitting theaters. The “Wolverine” star was feted Tuesday night at the Museum of the Moving Image’s annual salute, where guests included Hathaway (dressed in a much more demure outfit after her wardrobe malfunction a night earlier), Mike Nichols, Tom Hooper, Eddie Redmayne and Jackman’s wife, Debbora-Lee Furness. Spies say Jackman took the stage at Cipriani Wall Street and quoted a letter that Furness received from Anna Wintour, saying, “It is because of you Deborra-Lee that Hugh is where he is today.”
