Jessica Chastain has more than just a Golden Globe win and Oscar nomination to celebrate: She’s also dating a new man. The actress has reportedly been dating “War Horse” star Tom Hiddleston for several weeks, and even recently met his parents.
“Before Christmas she visited Britain to stay with him and meet all his family for the first time,” Britain’s Daily Mail reports.
Though both are classically trained actors, the match is still a surprising one because Chastain had recently sworn off her fellow actors.
“No actors,” she said in an article published with InStyle UK just last month. “I have dated an actor before, at Juilliard, but sine then, I’ve only been on a couple of dates with one and I was so freaked out someone was going to take a picture of us, because they were famous.”
“I realized I wanted just to be able to hang out with someone,” she said. “And I didn’t want to talk about the business, first of all.”
But even though she’s already been photographed with Hiddleston, her reps have yet to comment and likely won’t soon. Infamously private, she’s said, “I always try to keep my dating life quiet.”
