Anthony Bourdain’s launches epic rant after plane seat incident

Anthony Bourdain’s routine layover turned into a disaster after his American Airlines flight was delayed for hours after a passenger defecated onboard.

The outspoken chef and TV personality expressed his frustration in a series of expletive-filled tweets.

He started by tweeting to his wife, Ottavia, saying that he wouldn’t make it to his destination on time.

The profanity-laced missives continued, “Love the poor gate agent, standing mute under the “on time ” sign when clearly we are [bleep]ed. #AA.”

“What does “special situation” mean in airlines speak? Ain’t nothin special about late departure #AA,” he tweeted.

The cranky cook even visited the panini bar to wait for his flight when he found out what was causing the delay. He also sarcastically wrote, “But I had timed my airport margaritas and Valium for a timely departure.”

After two hours of waiting, Bourdain heard the surprising reason for the delay.

“Latest news is it took #AA two hours to admit a passenger dropped a wet deuce on a seat. Need to change planes,” he wrote. (And no, Al Roker wasn’t there)

Friends and fellow Travel Channel stars joked about the incidents with Bourdain, one saying “Amazing how with all the technology it takes to fly, all it takes is some little s*** to mess it all up for everyone.” Bourdain replied, saying “thinking about paying it forward. Especially after that airport panini.”

Bourdain’s last tweet reads, “Now pilots roaming freely…waiting for Godot. #AA.”

It is not clear if he made it to his destination.
