Super Bowl thieves snag Maxim party passes

Super Bowl thieves snagged a box of backstage passes to Maxim magazine’s party Saturday night, and proceeded to scalp the laminates for thousands of dollars to unsuspecting fans. We’re told a box of the plastic passes — made for approximately 100 staffers for the party at Second Line Studios — went missing about two hours before the party started. When they realized the passes had been sold on the street, Maxim workers had to scramble to make another version of them with different colors, before the “Greek-Goddess”-themed shindig began, to avoid confusion. Party organizers only realized what had happened when wannabe guests showed up with the pilfered passes. And the disappointed victims of the scheme had to be turned away. On the list for real were VIPs including Jamie Foxx, Jeremy Piven, Guy Fieri, Terrell Owens, Hayden Panettiere and Anthony Anderson, who joined 2,300 other partiers at the Patron-sponsored event. Paris Hilton’s ex, DJ Afrojack, spun tunes past 3 a.m.
