Tony Parker uses Brown-Ocean fight as evidence for lawsuit

Chris Brown’s alleged spat with Frank Ocean seems to be working in Tony Parker’s favor.

TMZ reports that Parker has filed new legal documents in his lawsuit against the owners of New York City nightclub W.i.P., the site of Brown’s dust-up with Drake last summer.

The bottle-throwing brawl between the hip-hop stars’ respective posses allegedly sent a shard of glass flying into the Spurs player’s left eye.

Parker is suing bosses at Entertainment Enterprises, Ltd. for $20 million claiming they should never have let Brown in.

The NBA player is now said to be using the R&B singer’s alleged volatile temper as evidence in the suit, citing the January 27th Brown-Ocean parking lot altercation at a Los Angeles recording studio. The misdemeanor battery case against Brown was dropped when Ocean decided not to press charges.

According to TMZ, Parker claims the alleged Brown-Ocean fight proves that Brown is, “unfit to socialize in places where he’s likely to fly off the handle,” and there is enough evidence now to show that Brown should have been denied entry on the night of the nightclub scuffle.

Over the weekend, Ocean announced on his Tumblr that he won’t press charges against Breezy: “I’ll choose sanity. No criminal charges. No civil lawsuit. Forgiveness, albeit difficult, is wisdom. Peace, albeit trite, is what I want in my short life. Peace.”

A spokesman for the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department (via E! Online) says authorities are unlikely to push for a misdemeanor battery charge against Brown, who is still on probation for his 2009 assault on Rihanna. Authorities plan to speak with Ocean before closing the case.
