Madam spanking Spitzer – sends campaign letter slamming ex-love guv, ‘I am rehabilitated. He is not’

Former Manhattan Madam and current comptroller candidate Kristin Davis has sent a scathing e-mail to her supporters condemning political rival and former Client No. 9. “Help Me Stop Eliot Spitzer,” pleaded Davis in her missive yesterday. “I am rehabilitated. He is not,” wrote the former escort queen, who served four months on Rikers Island while the ex-governor, she said, used his “wealth and connections [to avoid] prosecution.” Davis noted that she worked 10 years on Wall Street and built a “multimillion-dollar business,” while Spitzer has “no experience in the private sector — he has spent his adult life in government and has inherited his wealth from his billionaire father.” Davis, whose strongest talent clearly isn’t spelling, also writes that she has the “temperment [sic], judgement and mental balance to be an effective New York City comptroller.” Spitzer, with his “public outbursts and temper tantrums,” is “unfit for any position of public responsibility,” she claims. A Spitzer rep didn’t return a request for comment.
