EXCLUSIVE: Baby on way for Bloomberg

Mayor Michael Bloomberg’s spirited daughter Georgina is expecting her first child, Page Six can exclusively reveal.

Georgina, 30, a professional equestrian, is expecting a baby this winter, when the mayor will become a grandpa for the first time, her spokeswoman confirmed to us last night.

The rep said, “Georgina and her boyfriend are excited to be expecting a baby this winter. Her entire family has been incredibly supportive.”

We’re told the father is handsome Argentine equestrian Ramiro Quintana, 36, who competes with Georgina on the same circuit. The pair have been “quietly dating for a while,” we’re told.

But amid rumors that petite Georgina, the younger daughter of Blooomberg and Susan Brown, would have to take a break from horseriding during her pregnancy, her rep told us. “As of now, Georgina is not taking time off of her sport.” She is currently sponsored by Ariat International.

Georgina, the author of “The A Circuit” young-adult book series, and Equine Welfare Ambassador for the ASPCA, appeared at the 16th Annual Bergh Ball in April, looking stunning in a fitted, floor-length silver dress — with no sign of a bump.

Heiress Georgina lives on the Upper West Side and at the family farm in Wellington, Fla., with her rescued dogs and rescued pig, Wilbur. Quintana also lists his residence as Wellington.

This will be Hizzoner’s first grandchild. Georgina’s sister Emma, 34, a senior officer at the Robin Hood Foundation, is married to Chris Frissora, but they do not have children.

In a touching Father’s Day letter to his two daughters, Bloomberg wrote in Time, “I sometimes think of how I wish your grandfather could have seen me graduate from college and make my way in the world. I know how proud he would have been and that means a lot to me. But I also think how lucky I’ve been to . . . see you both make your way in the world, pursuing your own paths with passion, setting goals and driving yourselves to achieve them — on your own terms, in your own ways.”

Marc LaVorgna, the Mayor’s spokesman, said, “He is thrilled and can’t wait to meet his first grandchild.”
