Amanda Bynes’ Twitter is getting a whole lot uglier after she sent out a missive to her frequent target, Drake, leaving some outraged at her insensitive comment.
The 27-year-old retired actress posted a photo of the Canadian-born rapper with the caption, “They airbrushed @drake to make his eyes look like he doesn’t have down syndrome!”
The since-deleted tweet has provoked angry responses online. A follower responded, “So now @AmandaBynes has insulted the down syndrome community.”
Another wrote, “The people who are handicapped an really have downes syndrome shouldn’t be subjected to such evil ,vile,&sickening comments!!!!”
Many commenters were also concerned about Bynes’ well-being. “This is just sad… she needs some serious help and seriously needs to get her life together,” one wrote.
Earlier in the month, Bynes’ tweeted her distaste for her former celebrity crush. “Drake has the ugliest smile, ugly gums uneven teeth ugly eyes.”
She apologized for the comment a week later.
“I’m sorry about the tweets I said about @drake I didn’t mean what I said,” she wrote about the man she once famously begged to “murder” her body part. “I hope to become friends with him instead of smashing him!”
Bynes recently took a break from insulting Drake, and was photographed in New York City wearing her trademark blonde wig, tight purple leggings while cradling a small puppy.
Naturally, she has already balked at the paparazzi photos that surfaced online.
She tweeted, “OH MY GOD! THAT’S NOT ME! They morphed my face onto someone with a different face shape! I’m suing any site/magazine that shares that image!”
