David Arquette seems to be at it again – this time his old habits forcing him out of a job.
The “Scream” actor and ex-husband of “Friends” star Courteney Cox was fired from his latest movie production for falling back into his drunken antics, according to RadarOnline.
“The director had no choice but to fire him on the spot,” one source told the gossip site. “Everyone on the set was pissed and disappointed.”
Production reps insisted the “Never Been Kissed” actor was dismissed entirely because of creative differences.
But an insider on the set of the independent film, “Something About Her” said the 41-year-old’s behavior threw the entire movie into crisis.
“David wasn’t prepared that day and later on, I was told [by colleagues] that he was drunk. They tried to keep it all low-profile on set,” the source told Radar.
Veteran actor Anthony Michael Hall was brought on at the last minute as a replacement.
Arquette entered rehab in January 2011 after ending his 12-year marriage to the 51-year-old “Cougar Town” actress.
